Land Registry Compliance
At LegalPlanz, we are committed to producing plans which are compliant with the Land Registry Practice Guide 40.
Here is a summary of the requirements taken from the guide and from the Land Registration Rules 2003:
- Plans must be drawn to an appropriate metric scale which must be shown on the plan
- Plans must show a North point
- Any dimensions shown must be in metric units only, to 2 decimal places
- The plan must show sufficient detail to enable the land in the lease (including any garage, Bin store or garden area) to be identified on the Ordnance Survey map and (where appropriate) the landlord's title plan
- The property must be clearly identified using suitable colouring, edging or hatching
- Different floor levels of the property must be identified
